Who will win the Euro 2024?

UEFA EURO 2024 Group A:
Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland

Germany

Germany boasts a super young manager in the tournament leading the squad. Julian Nagelsmann, a 36-year-old, brings experience from Hoffenheim, Leipzig, and Bayern.

This is Germany's 13th Euro tournament and they will expect to do well as they are the hosts and still one of the stronger nations in this tournament.

Scotland

This will be Scotland's 4th European Championship. They qualified as runners up in Group A. They have a young side that will be hungry to do well, they also have not one a game at the tournament since Euro '96.

Hungary

It's been a long time coming for the Hungarians national team. 44 years to be exact since the last time they qualified for an Euros competition. They do have some real talent across Europe and the captain Dominik Szoboszlai could be the key to unlocking some success.

Hungary were group winners in the qualification and will look to upset a few teams in the group.

Switzerland

The Swiss had their best performance in the Euros 2020 reaching the Quarter-finals. They have a mixture of experience and loads of energy and speed with the youngsters in the national team.

UEFA EURO 2024 Group B:
Spain, Italy, Croatia, Albania

Spain

The Spanish national team qualified as group winners and only had one defeat. This will be Spain's 12th appearance at the tournament

Álvaro Morata will be the main fire power looking to push for Spain into another European Championship Final.

Italy

The Azzurri are the current holders had a bit of a stuttering qualification, with 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 loses. They will look to make a commanding start with their first against the Albania Eagles.

Croatia

This is the Croatians 7th time being involved in the European Championships, they will hope to get beyond the Quarter-finals.

A lot of the Croats hopes will rely on the magical talents of Luka Modrić and this would be his ninth major international tournament.

Albania

The Eagles were winners of the group in qualification. This will give the Albanians good hope for a solid tournament display. The Eagles made their debut at EURO 2016

UEFA EURO 2024 Group C:
Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England

Slovenia

This will be the Slovaks 2nd outing in the Euros, their last appearance was in Euro 2000.

They qualified runners up with achieving 7 victories, 1 draw and only 2 loses. I'm sure they will be difficult to breakdown and will look to upset some teams.

Denmark

As group winners in qualification the Danes will look to continue their impressive performance. Kasper Hjulmand's has an experienced squad, in EURO 2020 reached the last four, which is their best showing at any finals since they famously won the competition in Euro 1992.

Serbia

The Serbs will look to make an impact in the Euros, they have a great selection of experienced players all playing across the European leagues. With the likes of Vlahović, Dušan Tadić and Luka Jović they will expect to hit the back of the net.

England

Will Southgate unleash an attacking line up. The fans want to see open expansive football. The talent is definitely there in abundance but will the defence be able to cope. This is a better time than any for England to win a major trophy since 1966. The players in the current England squad are all top players, bordering on world class. This is their stage to shine! The likes of Foden, Bellingham, Rice, Saka and Kane, do they have the minerals, can they deliver the goods.

UEFA EURO 2024 Group D:
Poland, Netherlands, Austria, France

Poland

This is Polands 5th tournament participation, they will look to go past the quarter-finals which is the best they've achieved in Euro 2016. With the fire power from Robert Lewandowski they will be hoping to upset a few national teams.

Austria

The manager of Austria is Coach Ralf Rangnick and the majority of his players will be very familiar with the stadiums in Germany as they play in the Bundesliga.
They only had 1 defeat in qualification so will look to make a solid start to their campaign.

Netherlands

The Dutch will bring loads of fan and probably will the stadiums in Orange. They have a lot of experience in the team and Big Virgil will look to lead the national to the first trophy since 1988. There is a huge amount of talent from the squad which play in many of the top teams in Europe.

France

The French are probably the favourites in the this tournament. Kylian Mbappé will look to leave his mark and look to get the golden boot. The French team has quality throughout and have displayed that in qualification without losing a match.

UEFA EURO 2024 Group E:
Belgium, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine

Belgium

Runners-up in 1980 has never been repeated since. The Belgium squad does contain some absolute world class players. Undefeated in the qualifiers, they'll look to continue that form in this group. The likes of KDB and Lukaku will want to hit the ground running.

Romania

Qualified from the group as winners, Romania do have a fantastic team spirit. 6 wins, 4 Draw and 0 loses. They didn't qualify for the previous Euros so they will look to leave their mark and show the love to their fans.

Slovakia

The Slovaks have qualified for their third consecutive EURO finals. Qualifying as runners up they will look to disrupt the group. They will be a solid unit to breakdown and could frustrate a few teams.

Ukraine

The country has been through a lot. There is a huge amount of team energy with the Ukrainians, they qualified through the play-off's and will try to better their quarter-final place in Euro 2020.

UEFA EURO 2024 Group F:
Türkiye, Portugal, Georgia, Czech

Turkiye

Türkiye reached their third consecutive EURO finals. They will look to get through the group stages for the first time. They are young team with a selection of players in the top clubs in Europe. Kenan Yildiz of Juventus and Hakan Çalhanoğlu of
Inter Milan will look to make a positive start. Turkey will feel like the home nation at these Euros and there are over 8million Turks living in Germany.

Portugal

The likes of Ronaldo, Jota and Bernardo Silva will look to use their fire power to their advantage. With a staggering 36 goals scored in qualification and only 2 conceded, they are the dark horses that not many people are talking about. Winner of the European competition in 2016, they will look to have a decent campaign.

Georgia

Georgia have made history by qualifying for their first Euro competition, they got through via the play-off by beating Luxembourg and Greece. A very young and experienced side but with a big heart will look to get a victory in this tricky group F.

Czechia

The Czechs are always usually in the mix and this is their eighth successive appearance in the Euro competition. Having reached the quarter-finals in 2020 they will look to group out the out. They are going through a transitional period with the young blood coming so this tournament may have come too soon.
